Welcome back students and parents! I hope that everyone had a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday vacation. We are so happy to have everyone back and want especially to welcome the new families who have joined us at Overlake. We have now entered what is often considered the "best" time of the school year. The holidays are over, it's cold and snowy outside, and the world has slowed down a bit. It's that time of year when our academic learning can take our full focus. I want to thank all of our parents for the great job they do to work with their students on their homework and other school activities such as daily home reading. This support of what our teachers do here is day really does make a difference in your child's academic performance. It's a gift you give your child that lasts a lifetime!
